Before you buy
Can I just buy the microcement?
Yes. You will see it on the pail as ONE — microcement, nothing else. It is the cheapest line on our price list, and for most jobs it is the wrong one.
Microcement is the finish. Primer is what makes it bond to what is underneath and gives you a moisture barrier. Sealer is what protects it once it is on. Buy the finish on its own and you have neither.
There are two honest reasons to buy it by itself:
- You are topping up a job and already have primer and sealer.
- You are recoating microcement that is already down, primed and sound.
Starting a new surface? Use Core or Reinforced.
Comparing prices?
Some sellers quote a price for the microcement alone. That number looks good next to a full system, and it is not the same thing. Before you compare, ask what the primer and sealer cost, and how many coats of each your job takes.

How much do I need?
Tell us the area and pick your system. We will work out every product, how many units, and what it costs. Add more than one area and we will pool them into a single list.
Coarse is the base texture. Medium sits in between. Smooth goes further and covers more per pail.
For build coat and microcement. A 2.5-gallon pail covers half as much. It suits small jobs, but costs more per sq ft.

The difference is product left in the pails. Add more area to the same job and you use it for close to nothing.

Every figure includes 10% overage and rounds up to whole units. Coverage assumes a prepared, level substrate — rough or porous surfaces drink more. Microvella ships late 2026; prices are shown so you can budget a job now. If a number here disagrees with the pail, go with the pail.
