Find a Microcement Installer

Microvella sells the material. We do not install it, and we are not going to pretend we have a crew in your city when we do not. But there are two real routes to a finished surface, and this page is an honest description of both.

Route one: a certified installer

Our sister company, Microcement USA, is the distributorship. It trains and certifies applicators and runs a network of them across the country, with training locations and installers in states including Texas, California, Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Tennessee.

If you want somebody who has been taught the system, has done it before, and is accountable for the result, that is the route. Start at Microcement USA's installer finder.

Pick this route when the job is a primary bathroom, a wet room, a large floor, or anything where a mistake is expensive to undo.

Route two: buy the material, use a trade you already trust

Most microcement in the United States cannot be bought without a certification and a trade account. Microvella exists to change that. We sell direct — no licence, no trade card, no proof you work in the industry.

That means a painter, tiler, remodeler or contractor you already work with can buy the material and do the job, without going through a certification programme first. We have written a brief for each of them:

Pick this route when you already have a trade you trust, when you want to keep the job with your own crew, or when there is no certified installer near you.

Route three: do it yourself

Genuinely viable on the right project, and it is why most people find us. Start on a dry interior wall, not a bathroom floor. See microcement for homeowners for what it costs, what tools you need and what tends to go wrong.

Which route, quickly

Wet room, big floor, or a house you are selling? Certified installer.
Have a trade you trust? Buy the material, send them the brief for their trade.
One feature wall and some time? Do it yourself.

Are you a contractor who wants to be on that list?

Two things worth separating. You can buy from Microvella today with no certification at all — that is the whole model. And you can get certified with Microcement USA, which is hands-on training, a trade account and a place in the installer network that homeowners are searching.

They are not in competition. Plenty of people buy the material, try it on their own place, and then go and get trained because they want the work that comes with being findable.

Common questions

Does Microvella install?

No. We sell the material. Microcement USA runs the certified installer network.

Is Microcement USA the same company?

Sister companies. Microcement USA is the distributorship and runs training and certification. Microvella is the product sold direct, with no certification required. Both sell material.

There is no installer near me. Now what?

Route two. A good local tiler, painter or remodeler can buy the material from us and apply it — send them the page for their trade.

Can I get trained?

Yes, through Microcement USA. Hands-on, with an instructor.
