Microvella Fiberglass Mesh

Fiberglass mesh is the reinforcing layer in every Reinforced system. It is bedded into the first build coat and covered by the second, so it sits inside the structure rather than under the finish.

This is the layer that stops movement underneath from reaching the surface. A flexing subfloor, a substrate joint, the grid of old grout lines beneath a tiled floor — the mesh and build coat are what keep those from telegraphing through into your finish coats.

Use it anywhere the system calls for Reinforced: over tile, over plywood or MDF, anything wet, and anything outdoors. On those substrates it is not optional.

Overlap the seams as you lay it and keep it flat. A ridge in the mesh becomes a ridge in the floor.

Roll is 39 inches wide. Coverage 500 sq ft per roll, one layer.
